Lismore Police Station Flood Refit 2022

This was 1.5 million dollar electrical job to refit Lismore Police Station after the 2022 floods for Primal Systems, with Intrec being the principle building contractor

The project took 5 months to complete and involved a project manager, leading hand and 8 electricians onsite.

Works included.

Demolition and removal of existing electrical and data cabling and equipment that was flood-affected.

Electrical refit of Ground floor offices, foyer, watch house and holding cells and correctives wing for the courthouse.

Install and commissioning of CBUS building management system on the ground floor.

Upgrade of Ground floor distribution boards and refit of existing main switch board.

Upgrade of lighting systems and complete re-wire of correctives section.

Install and commission Clevertronics Hive exit and emergency lighting system.

Rectification works on levels 2,3, and 4 from roof leak damage.

Works onsite were very challenging with time constraints for Foyer and Watch house fit outs needing to be completed in short time frames, and issues with speciality lighting supply and a need to source alternatives.

Project was completed within Intrec required timeframes, and with zero defects and DLP.
